Job Description
JOB DUTIES
Report to Vietnamese Senior Manager
Assigned to Accounting Division
Job Responsibilities:
-Control accounting functions include the controls to all accounting works and accounting staff
-Control financial statement and consolidation package
-Control internal controls at the process level
-Training and develop accounting team
-Develop accounting system
Manage accounting function:
-Manage accounting staff
-Manage accounting function under both International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) & Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS)
-Maintain chart of accounts to meet regulation and management requirements
-Develop and maintain accounting procedures
-Develop and maintain the IT system for accounting
Prepare financial statements:
-Prepare consolidation package under IFRS
-Prepare Self asset assessment report
-Prepare Annual financial statements under VAS
Control accounting booking, transactions and activities to ensure the smooth operation as:
-Credit control
-Expense management
-Tax management
-All accounting reconciliations
-Month end/ year end closing
-Management reporting
System development”
-Enhancement of the existing accounting systems
-Development new system for effective operation
Other works as assigned by senior manager
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Desirable Background & Experience:
-Qualification: University Graduation in Accounting
-Professional certificate is preferable
-Language Skills: English fluency
-At least 10 years’ experience in accounting field
-At least 5 years’ experience as General Accountant
-Experience in insurance is an advantage
-Well understanding of international and local accounting practices
-Well understand the local regulations in accounting, tax, managements
-Well understand insurance business practice is preferable
-Good communication skills
