Devinition is looking for a Technical Architect to work with a young and innovative team in Ho Chi Minh city. As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment. We are an outsourcing company with many interesting projects. For our partner in Kyoto, Japan, we are looking for several extentions of our game development team.
Currently, our team in Vietnam has over 10 members, and we are looking to grow the team with additional game developers. For this reason, we are currently recruiting for key roles in the team. The roles require a Japanese speaking skill, so communication can be handled between the team members in Kyoto and the team members in Vietnam. The team in Vietnam is using the Kanban methodology and DevOps to manage the project. The games are developed with PHP / Laravel and Unity.
As a Technical Architect, your work will include but not limit to:
- Work with client or the team to define technical solution approaches. Provide detail technical guidance and direction on project works to the team members/clients.
- Be responsible for the technical proposal, software design aspects and technical quality in the project
- Discuss architecture and design issues directly with clients
- Define clear roadmap and coach all-level engineers to be real architects in foreseeable time.
- Write training materials and conduct trainings.
- Support team in resolving tough issues.
- Support the pre-sales process.
- Do code review and apply best practices to improve productivity of teams.
- Drive technical roadmap for multiple teams.
Job Requirements:
- 7+ year experience in software development.
- 2+ year experience as software architect or technical architect.
- Experience with PHP, frontend technologies
- Good knowledge and hand-on experiences about performance optimization.
- Good knowledge on code review best practices (tools, processes, ...)
- Ability to do training, coaching, code review.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good Japan communication.
