Work details
- Report to Japanese Division Director, Vietnamese Manager
- Managing 3 Division members.
*Job Responsibilities:
- Proposing a new product which is based on cost, design and expected sales.
- Selecting factory and material to develop a product for Vietnam.
- Importing their product from Japan.
- Confirming Japanese specification of chemical composition.
- Working closely with Merchandising team on following up with purchase orders and reviewing contractors’ performance.
- Supervising local contractors in terms of the quality of raw materials, semi-products, end-products; sample checking and approval; production progress; packaging and delivery.
- Going to contractors’ site for on periodical basis for regular follow-up, or case by case to solve arising problems, or on sudden visits for random check.
*Essential Requirements:
- Qualification/Certificate: Bachelor's Degree
- Language Skills: Japanese Business Level & English Conversational Level
- Gender: Any
- Age: 28-40
- Computing: MS Office
- 2+ management experience.
- 5+ years of working experience as a product development with household products, such as furniture, kitchen stuff, laundry stuff and etc.
- Having knowledge about import customs clearance.
