<Job Responsibilities>
PURPOSE:
- Handling of Reinsurance (RI) processing of Treaty to ensure prompt and accurate processing of premiums and claims.
- Assist in the collation and facultative inward acceptances.
CONTEXT:
- All classes of insurance business in Vietnam, especially for classes provided by the company
- Facultative RI Inward acceptance and claims handling.
DIMENSIONS:
- Provide general administrative support for the Division.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and statistics for analysis of performance.
KEY OUTPUTS:
- Making RI worksheet or RI disposal for policies when requested (with guidance)
- Coordinate with Underwriting Division for seeking reinsurance supports of the policy when capacity required and ensure all reinsures have approved security; Ensure all policies are properly reinsured/retained;
- Creating, monitoring Accumulation exposure;
- Refer to Treaty Leader to get Special Approval for the risk.
- Facultative Inward Acceptance-Follow up
- Filing/Documentation RI.
Handling RI Accounting reports process including Treaty,
Claim Recovery, coordinate and follow up with Accounting
Division to make payment/offset timely.
- Prepare RI frequent reports.
- Other tasks as required by the Reinsurance section.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor Degree: University Graduation
- Gender: Any
- Language: English fluent level
- 2 years of experience in property/casualty underwriting OR 2 years on RI/RI jobs
- Adequate knowledge of insurance, products, insurance contracts, clauses
- Effective interpersonal skills need to create and expand partnerships with internal and external customers as well as to influence the way business partners think, feel or behave
- Have good knowledge about type and method of reinsurance, priority for the experience of Facultative Inward experience and/or Treaty handling
- Having a service mindset, positive energy
- Careful and detail-oriented
- Advance in Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
<Preferable Skill>
- Graduated from FTU is preferred
- Programming/coding skills are preferred
- Professional insurance qualification
