GENERAL INFORMATION
Position: CHIEF LEADER (PACKAGING) - MANUFACTURING
Level: Leader
Contract term: Permanent

Expected joining date: Pursuant to Vietnam Labor Law
Work location: Binh Duong (company bus is available from Hang Xanh, HCMC to Binh Duong via National Road No. 13)
Work time: The factory is run 24/7 (no weekend) with two types of shift working (not fixed among all options) as follows
Work 4 consecutive days x 12 hours per day (7:30am-7:30pm and vice versa) then off 2 consecutive days
OR Work 6 consecutive days x 8 hours per day (starting from 6:00am, 2:00pm and 10:00pm) then off 2 consecutive days
Allowance(s): None
Bonus and incentives: 13th month bonus (fixed) / Performance bonus and salary review once per year
Selection process: Two rounds (HR Department -> Line Manager)
JOB DUTIES
Report to Production Manager (Vietnamese, male), dotted line to Factory Manager (Japanese, male)
Manage around 15-20 workers
Team structure: Factory Manager -> Production Manager / Vice Production Manager -> Chief -> Leaders -> Workers
There are four main teams on production side of the factory including Printing, Blowing, Spraying, Packaging. Each team consists of 1 Chief, 2-3 Leaders and from 5 Workers (according to workload)
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machines following internal procedure and safety regulations
- Check production progress; stick with production plan
- Prepare and follow up with maintenance schedule; handle breakdown
- Supervise and train workers on daily tasks; allocate the workforce and shift working
- Report to Production (Vice) Manager and dotted line to Factory Manager case by case
- Other ad-hoc tasks as per requested by Line Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Desirable Background and Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree OR Diploma Degree
- Language skills: English conversational level (speaking skill is most important to report directly to Japanese Manager case by case)
- From 1+ years of professional experience -> candidate will be assigned Chief / Leader level based on experience
- Experience working at the same position in similar manufacturing companies (Japanese ones are preferable)
