SAP Project Manager - Consulting firm

[Position Summary:]
• Responsible for managing SAP projects including integration points with other systems. Additionally, responsible for status report, issue tracking, and project communications.
• Establishes and manages relationships with customers and multiple vendors. Drives toward continuous improvement.

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
[Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:]
• General knowledge of SAP deployment activities, likely at an infrastructure level (preferably, SAP A1 such as S/4 HANA and ECC)
• Utilizes the information in MS Project, MS Excel or other tools to communicate status based on the needs of the project.
• Experience with MS Project, MS Excel or other tools to determine how the intersection of multiple projects impact the critical path, baseline, resource constraints, costs and budget of the team.
• Able to create different mitigation plans in MS Project, MS Excel or other tools and make recommendations.
• Prepares a complex schedule within MS Project, MS Excel or other tools and manages timelines.
• Able to use communication features such as Timeline, Gantt charts, etc for stakeholder updates when needed.
• Can use Outlook to schedule meetings with internal and external resources in multiple locations.
• Utilizes the information in MS Excel that communicates project level information based on the needs of the project.
• Able to use MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio to present complex ideas in a way that is easily understood by the team.

[Experience and Educational Requirements:]
• 10 or more years managing SAP projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is desired.
