<Job Responsibilities>
• To support the Maintenance Manager, undertake the required checks and inspections of Rolling stock and other railway assets during the different project stages up to, but not limited to completion and handover
• Ensure the Inspection and Works carried out by Maintenance staff or Approved Maintenance subcontractors are completed correctly and on time.
• Ensure all records of Inspections and Works carried out are recorded and stored correctly on the specified Project documentation and/or Asset database.
• Ensure any corrective or remedial works or maintenance is completed correctly and recorded and stored correctly on the specified Project documentation and/or Asset database.
• Ensure all equipment and tools used for Inspection and Maintenance are calibrated and records of up-to-date calibration are available before use.
• Ensure all items removed, changed or replaced are recorded. Information of the items are recorded such as, but not limited to Date, Description, Part number, Condition, Quantity, Reason for change.
• Ensure staff undertaking Inspections and or maintenance tasks are competent and have with them the necessary certification to undertake the works, including checking of workers certification of competence before they commence any inspection or other works.
• Ensure those staff undertaking Inspection or maintenance are fit to do so and not under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs.
• If required to, Work with the Subsystem Managers and Engineers to create and obtain timely approval of Critical Project Documents (necessary permits, submittals, etc.) required by the contract specifications or client
• If required, undertake and perform other relevant tasks and duties as is required during difference phases of the project.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education background: Bachelor's degree, major in Electrical /
Mechanical/ Production Engineering
・Language: English - Business level
・Experiences:
• At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Have a technical background with Heavy equipment Maintenance, Inspection and repair works, Preferably Railway Rolling stock and Assets. But experience with similar large
Equipment will be considered, such as Aircraft, Construction Equipment, Trucks, Buses, Oil and Gas extraction and processing equipment.
• A working knowledge and experience of overseeing maintenance and subcontract workers
• Ability to read and interoperate Engineering drawings, Technical Documents and Operating and maintenance manuals.
