<Job Responsibilities>
- Draft/review and participate in the negotiation of commercial contracts/agreements and ensure documents comply with the Company’s regulations and the law.
- Prepare and standardize internal legal documentation and procedures.
- Provide legal advice for the Company to ensure that the legal and overall objectives are met.
- Compile dossiers, documents, and official letters as requested by the line manager
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
- Continuously monitor and update changes in applicable laws and regulations, and make impact assessment reports thereon.
- Prepare and conduct internal legal training.
- Take part in the resolution of claims and disputes related to the Company as assigned.
- Involve in drafting, revising, formulating, updating, and implementing the Company’s provisions.
- Support to prepare and administer the compliance in the Company, and handle all compliance inquiries as required.
- Monitor and identify possible areas of legal and compliance risks and follow-up corrective action plans.
- Other legal and compliance assignments as requested from time to time.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Language: English - Business level
- Experience:
・2-3 years’ relevant professional experience in a law firm, in-house legal counsel, preferably non-life insurer.
・Knowledge and experience in insurance laws and operation.
- Others:
・Familiar with common office software such as MS Word, Excel, and Internet Outlook Express.
・Strong analytical, logical, problem problem-solving skills, and service service-oriented mindset.
