<Position Objective/Expectation >
As an HR&GA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources and general affairs functions within our organization. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, hands-on and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
<Job Responsibilities>
Human Resources Tasks:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's goals and objectives e.g. recruitment, performance management systems, Learning and development, etc.
2. Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
3. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
4. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
5. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, and make recommendations for necessary updates to policies and practices.
6. Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs including payroll management, salary structures, and employee welfare initiatives.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and attendance records.
8. Oversee the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance, leave management, year-end parties, and company trips.
9. Stay updated on HR and employment law trends, and ensure that the company's policies and practices remain in compliance with changing regulations.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams i.e. RHQ – Regional Head Quarter, to support organizational development initiatives, change management, and talent management strategies.
11. Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review and decision-making purposes.
12. In charge of legal tasks such as employee relations, reporting to / working with authorities
General Affairs Tasks:
1. Arrange timely procedures related to foreigners such as visas, work permits, resident card
2. Develop, review, manage & approve the department’s budget and cost.
3. Provide general administrative support for company activities as well as office facilities
4. Support in vendor management tasks from sourcing, and contracting to monitoring performance and making payment for invoices to vendors, and service providers in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Coordinate with relevant teams to support essential paperwork and documents such as contracts, agreements, POA, permits, approvals, internal letters, etc.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Age: 35 ~ 45
・Gender: Any
・Education: Bachelor’s Degree major in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
・Language: English - Business Level (Excellent English communication skills)
・Experience: Having a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an HR and GA Manager or similar role within the tire or automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to the tire or automotive business.
- Strong understanding of various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
- Proactive with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity.
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Prefer candidate familiar with Japanese working style and organization
