<Job Responsibilities>
• Assist in coordinating procurement exercise with Subcontractor & Supplier, which includes a request for quotation (RFQ), review quotation report, holding & attending meetings, negotiating, and preparing CCC Sheet to submit to Manager review.
• Responsible for quantity taking off as approved for Construction drawings for work packages as planned.
• Assist in detailed progress Cost & Budget control reports monthly.
• A site visit weekly is required & coordinate with the Construction team to review, and finalize the physical work done at the site to facilitate subcontractor payments including liaising with the accounting section to ensure timely payment.
• Request, review, and negotiate Variation orders with Subcontractors (IBCs) to prepare Variation orders for Manager review and then submit to Employer (IBOs).
• Data will be collated from the Sub-Contractors each month and Monthly Application for Payment (AFP) for each Works packages. This will require working closely with the site-based Site Engineer and Subcontractors to ensure the data for the AFP is correct and is in sufficient detail to substantiate our claim.
• Assist in negotiating final settlements with Subcontractors whenever they complete Works or at the end of the project.
• Attend all Work package meetings with the Construction team and update the information back to the C&P Manager and other Q.S staff.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >

・Education: Bachelor or above
・Language: English intermediate level
・Experience:
- At least 7 years experience as a QS Engineer
- Have intermediate knowledge of Building or Mall bills of quantities and the ability to assess quotations for value, cost, and quality.
- Have intermediate negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate payments and variation orders with Subcontractors.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate knowledge of software programs for Q.S requirements and CAD.
- Be good at interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・Worked as a Site Engineer and/or construction site experience is an advantage
