Work details
1- Production Management:
- Work together with section Managers to perform overall management of production fields.
- Monthly production management regarding manpower usage, productivity, and quality. Compared with the company’s plan, giving improvement methods to achieve.
- Dealing with internal problems with related section Managers for arising issue problems.
- Dealing with external problems like negotiation of ongoing work with business partners.
- Communicate and executive management strategies under the roles and responsibilities.
- Create a comfortable working environment for junior managers, leaders, and workers aimed at working in a healthy, rewarding, and stable manner.
- Responsible for managing operations while assuming all risks. Inform members of the thoroughness of compliance, and when trouble occurs, give appropriate instructions and responses.
- Report on-site situations to upper management, such as the progress of work and problems that occur. Future issues and risk signals for production and the company are also reported leading to the development and risk management of the company.
- Profitability management: Under the annual budget of manufacturing, take measures against problematic issues and manage the budget and actual result on a monthly basis. Checking the progress of cost reduction (defect/loss reduction & productivity improvement issues, giving instruction and guidance to the PIC for problem items and reflecting it in next month’s profit.
- ISO implementation and Kaizen implementation within his roles.
2- Training and performance appraisal.
- Implementation of training tasks such as skill, working attitude, and mindset with the purpose of improving higher performance demonstration at work and becoming a human resource who can provide more results/profitable values to the Company.
- Execute the periodical performance evaluation to his belonging workers/supervisor/managers and share/explain the strategy or demand to the human resource manager.
- Suggestion of the performance evaluation format and skill matrix for human resource managers and discussion for the same agreement before implementation.
- Create the manpower plan and manpower allocation to production sections and submit it for final approval.
- Other tasks as Management’s requirement.
<Necessary Skill / Experience>
- Education: University graduate
- Gender: Any
- Age: 40-50 years old
- Language: English Business Level Or Japanese Business Level (Japanese communication is one of priority during the interview)
- Experience: At least 10 years of relevant working experience, at least 5-7 years at the Manager/Senior Manager level in Foreign manufacturing companies (experience in Japanese companies is a big plus).
- Good knowledge of production management skills and quality management or ISO systems will be an advantage
