Position: Procurement Assistant Manager – Manufacturing
Level: Assistant Manager

Work Time:
Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)
Saturday: morning 8am-12pm , off twice per month
Bonus and Incentives: 13th month bonus

JOB DUTIES
Report to Japanese Manager
Main Tasks:
- Maintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it. An executive would set the policy as well.
- Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with and maintaining the legal interaction with them.
- Managing any SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) that may be in place and managing any Master Agreements between the suppliers and the company.
- Staff recruitment, training and management.
- Cooperate with other departments, particularly the accounting, manufacturing and stock departments (SCM.)
- Budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available.
- Apply Company regulation and Safety, Quality and other legal requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Desirable Background & Experience:
- Qualification: Entry requirements vary depending on the type and size of the employing organization. Large retail stores and wholesale distribution centers tend to prefer applicants who have completed a degree with a business emphasis. Some employers, particularly in manufacturing, engineering or construction firms, like candidates to have qualifications and knowledge relevant to the field. So, although this area of work is open to all graduates, the following degree subjects may improve your chances: business studies, Sales & Marketing, purchasing and logistics, purchasing and supply, management, engineering
- Work experience: Previous business experience, especially gained in buying and selling, would be advantageous.
