Japanese Speaking - Production Control Assistant Manager - Household Goods

<Job Responsibilities>
1. Product development
(1) Select appropriate factories from plans and drawings
(2) Cooperate and negotiate with target factories to achieve desired specifications and quality
(3) Do system registration work related to product development, quality testing arrangements, and creation of sub-materials
(4) Report and link with the head office (Tokyo) regarding the above contents.

2. Delivery date management
(1) Plan the schedule from product development to mass production, shipment, and launch
(2) Confirm production capacity and production LT before mass production
(3) On-site confirm the production progress
(4) On-site confirm the delivery management and shipping
(5) Report and link the above to the head office (Tokyo)

3. Quality Control
(1) Plan the predictive and preventive measures for quality problems in the product development stage
(2) Confirm the quality of mass-produced first-launched products
(3) Guide control methods and inspection methods at the factory
(4) Check the production environment at the factory and guide improvement
(5) Investigate causes and remedial measures when quality defects occur
(6) Report and link the above to the head office (Tokyo)

4. Cost management
(1) Propose specifications to achieve target costs at the product planning stage
(2) Plan the cost reduction in areas other than product specifications, such as packaging specifications
(3) Improve the cost through process improvement and efficiency improvement planning

Business trips: 3~4 times/month in Vietnam, 1 time/semester overseas

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Age: 30 ~ 40
・Gender: Any
・Education: Bachelor's Degree
・Language: Japanese or English - Business Level (Japanese is preferred)
・Experience: Experience in production control or quality control of general merchandise and furniture
・Others:
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet)
- Be able to communicate well with all parties involved, including foreign nationals
- Have the self-motivation to make and promote proposals on one's own, rather than being passive.
- Have a strong will to carry out work and be able to take leadership based on team play
- Be able to respond flexibly, proactively, and flexibly to urgent, unforeseen, and inexperienced work.

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Experience working in a Japanese company is preferred
