JOB DUTIES
Report to Vietnamese Finance Manager (50s)Manage 3 staffsJob Responsibilities:- A key member of Finance team and a leader within the Vietnam factory- Responsible for planning, organizing and directing all aspects of the Accounting function including responsibilities for general ledger accounting, internal controls, accounting for materials, labor, overhead, payroll and capital investments- Prepare the budget and forecast for financial planning of the Vietnam Plant- Prepare monthly reports with both summary financials and detailed financial analysis of Vietnam factory performance; such reporting to provide decision-support for the Vietnam factory management, and also tie with reporting to the company financial management in Lakewood- Prepare relevant sections of the 5 Key Metrics to Global Operations Management in Lakewood- Prepare Operations Financial Performance deck to Global Operations Management and Corporate Finance in Lakewood- Complete related monthly, periodical reports, tax declaration and tax issues resolution such as VAT, FCT, PIT, CIT, etc… as requiredCoordinate with related departments to ensure compliance with Vietnam accounting standards and company procedures as well as the accuracy of all information- Manage payable accounting team for timely and efficient payment to vendors in line with contracts and company procedure to utilize the cash flow- Responsible for company fixed assets with proper and accurate booking of depreciation- Liaise with internal/external auditors, tax authorities and relevant government organizations relating to accounting and finance matters- Analyze yearly financial results and all aspects of financial data to provide useful insights on company financial fund- Manage and monitor the operational expenses to be within limited budgets- Assist to internal control as required and complete all required external and internal/corporate audit, liaising with auditors on behalf of the - Business Unit as assigned- Ensure the smooth running of daily operation of accounting team and managed subordinates that reports to- Co-operate with all other departments to ensure smooth operation accordance to company policies and procedures- Assist in business operations with projects as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Desirable Background and Experience:- Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting- Having Chief Accountant Certificate- Language skill(s): English fluent (must)- From 5+ years of experience in similar position in manufacturing environment- In-depth working knowledge and understanding of various areas of accounting, including Tax and Accounting Law as well as related legislations in Vietnam- Proven track record of successfully managing and developing an accounting team- Experience working in the same industry (medical equipment) and/or European factories is a very big plus- Able to use accounting software; especially experience in Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting SAP is much favorableDesirable Characters:- Gender: Any- Age: Around 30s-40s- Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English and Vietnamese- Excellent analytical skills; able to identify and solve problems rapidly, to think and plan strategically, and to effectively communicate such thoughts and plans- Good at building relationship with a track record of influencing and motivating others- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and see the big picture- Personality: flexible, approachable, self-motivated and proactive
