§ Position: Japanese Speaking – Safety Manager – Manufacturing

§ Working Location: Hai Phong
§ Working Time: Monday-Saturday (8am-5pm), off 2 Saturday/month.

JOB DUTIES
§ Main Tasks:
- Providing the guideline for safety, environmental & health to the company based on the target of company.
- Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's team or correct those.
- Demonstrate ability to lead and manage team-based initiatives.
- Know and follow established job specific and facility wide health and safety procedures and rules.
§ Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements and locally applicable regulations.
- Set safety priorities, metrics, target and requirements
- Provide safety & environment operation for company in manufacturing operations.
- Instil and foster proactive safety-conscious culture and drive operational ownership of working environment, Health & Safety programs through all levels of the organization.
- Develop and implement safety programs to comply with JFE Shoji safety requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Manage environmental related matters associated with business operations including air, water, waste and chemical/materials management issues.
- Conduct safety training and presentations on various topics within scope of responsibility.
- Perform safety audits/inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are developed and implemented on a timely basis.
- Lead and/or participate in incident investigations and ensure appropriate root causes are identified and corrective actions are developed/implemented.
- Evaluate safety risks and challenges and develop appropriate risk reduction strategies.
- Establish SOP instruction and training to related person
- Work closely with team to develop and implement functional safety programs and strategies.
- Maintain safety and health records and documents required by JFE Shoji and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Additional tasks, as required from management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
§ Desirable Background & Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or other technical field ( Planning, QA/QC have knowledge of engineering )
- Language Skills: Japanese business level or English business level
- Have experience in safety control for manufacture Japanese company.
- Good at Microsoft Office
- Have good ownership & leadership skill
- Have good knowledge of safety operation in factory
