Job Description
Report to Japanese Manager (male, 40s)
Assigned to Product Development Department
Job Responsibilities:
-Develop food products to be distributed in Vietnam market under the private brand of the company
-Market research: analyze and evaluate the market to identify customer’s needs and appropriate products
-Source and negotiate with suppliers on commercial contracts, pricing strategy, payment term, delivery… related to product development under the private brand
-Follow up with suppliers on sample testing, product quality, production progress…
-Coordinate with Quality Assurance Department to make sure that product quality meets both international and local food safety standards
-Other ad-hoc tasks as per requested by Line Manager

Requirements
Desirable Background and Experience:
-Qualification: Bachelor Degree or Diploma Degree in related fields
-Language skill(s): Japanese business level
-Computing: MS Office
-2+ years of experience working at similar positions (Merchandiser / Purchaser) dealing with food and/or similar products in Japanese companies
