JOB DUTIES
Report to Technical Service Department Manager
Assigned to Technical Service Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Market analysis in terms of technical aspects.
- Product quality observations and quality control. This will lead to improvement on PSR & TBR products.
- Support Sales in Pre-sales (Fleet approach) and Post-sales (Tire checking service, Claim tire handling & Warranty issues).
- Presentations (for Training, Seminar, Product Introductions) to enhance the tire knowledge for dealers as well as for end-users.
- Marketing support (family channel development) to improve the service quality of FC system.
1) Pre-Sales:
- Cooperate with Sales PIC in visiting customers (Fleet approach) to perform checks, gather information (operating condition, tire using condition) then analyze customers' needs. Based on this, company will make products suitable to recommendations to maximize the tire using efficiency for customers.
- Conduct the monitoring test (Field Test) & follow up to estimate the power of products compare with competitors: get the actual data for approaching customers and facilitate for product planning.
2) Post-Sales:
- Analysis of technical problems, troubleshoots through service and perform product testing to help improve product reliability, safety and maintainability for customers.
3) Presentation/Training:
Organize Product Training/ Seminar/ Product Introductions for customers and dealers (included FCs, normal dealers, sub-dealer, car dealers):
- Providing the basic tire knowledge for customer to enhance the tire using efficiency, saving costs as well as ensuring the safety when operating on roads.
- Helping the dealers have the best tire knowledge to consult well for customers through which will increase sales.
4) Market Analysis:
Perform market survey (e.g. vehicle counts, weight, scrap tire, road conditions, dealers, customers, competitor’s information) and data compilation and analysis:
- PIC of TBR Competitors information survey: Build up the database of competitor information in Vietnam; Utilize to better and simplify product line up of company tires to compete with competitor and meet the market demand.
- Grasping the current market situation to have the most suitable products for market to increase sales as well as provide the products meet the requirements of customer.
- Providing the actual data for product planning.
5) PIC of Fleet approach:
- Follow up the Fleet approach activity of FE team.
- Grasping the tire using situation of company products as well as competitors in each segments and each territory.
- Support Sales team increase the sale for end-users (Fleets)
6) Market QA:
- Claim tire handling to resolve the claim tires of customers: help customer understand about the cause of tire damages & give the countermeasures for customer to prevent the damages happen again.
- Contact with regional head office to get the approval for accept warranty cases then do the procedure to pay compensation for customers.
- Raise promptly about the technical issues for team to have the prompt actions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Desirable Background & Experience
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline or its equivalent (material technology engineer)
- Language Skills: English business level (excellent verbal and written skills)
- Relevant working experience related to Engineering
- Able to travel extensively (50% of time travel to the assigned provinces)
- Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent logical thinking abilities and able to resolve issues from multiple perspectives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good discipline and team working spirit
- Passion for the job and a challenging spirit preferred
