<Position Overview >
The Planning Manager plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the operation of the planning department and is responsible for developing the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory. The qualified individual will be responsible for providing the company with a monthly production plan consistent with the company capacity and sales forecast; determining the desired inventory levels for finished goods including safety stock levels. Strong collaboration with Customer Service Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Material Manager and Management will be critical to meeting business goals.
<Job Responsibilities>
• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials are released to meet production requirements.
• Notify management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Determine optimal end unit forecast and safety stock levels.
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports to communicate master production schedule performance.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve material, machine and manpower constraints that interfere with schedule completion.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Material, Engineering.
• Understand, anticipate and represent customer requirements and translate, via the master production schedule, to employees and management.
• Respond promptly when issues arise and alert the team in a timely manner in order to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure the maximization of resources for the production facility - capacity, materials, and labor.
• Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan, identify gaps and drive solutions to the requested production schedule
• Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics to the completion of complex assignments.

<Necessary Skill / Experience >

- English: business level
- Education: Bachelor degree in Economic, Foreign Trade, Business Administration or a related field;
- 2-3 years’ experience in the position of manager
- 4-5 years’ experience in Production Planning
- Experienced in ERP system preferably AX Dynamics;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Strong problem solving and analysis skill;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment and ability to manage and prioritize a challenging workload;
