- Send a Request for Quote to suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers about price, quality, performance, etc.
- Issue Purchase Orders
- Track deliveries from suppliers.
- Create and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Control the quality and timely shipment of purchased goods
