JOB DUTIES
Report to Japanese QA Manager (male, 50s)Assigned to QA DepartmentTeam size: 70 membersTeam structure: Japanese QA Manager -> 2 QA Group Leader (including this position) -> QA StaffsJob Responsibilities:Manage quality of raw materials, semi-finished products, end products, inventoryTest new samples and report to QA ManagerAssess new and existing suppliersJoin in Trial Production at suppliers’ siteJoin in Audit Meeting about relapse prevention, process improvement, price / cost down.Receive damaged parts from the market; analyze the cause and conduct reportsDirectly perform tests regarding ability, callipers, micrometer, high gauge, tension gauge, vibration, noise, speed dial…Deal with temperature and humidity problems in the plantGo on domestic / overseas business trips to solve QA issues at clients’ siteAttend training courses in Japan headquarter if need beShow potentials and capabilities to become a manager in the futureOther ad-hoc tasks as per requested by Line Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Desirable Background and Experience:Qualification: Bachelor DegreeLanguage skill(s): English business level OR Japanese business level (preferable)Having certificates of ISO9001:2008, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 awarded by MQI (Management Quality Institute) is a big plusFrom 2+ years of experience working at QA management positions of manufacturing companies (Japanese ones are preferable)Desirable Characters:Gender: Male preferableAge: Around 35Willing to go on occassional business trips
