GENERAL INFORMATION
§ Position: CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER - HOSPITALITY
§ Job code: JO-170829-135362
§ Expected joining date: Pursuant to Vietnam Labor Law (as soon as possible)
§ Work location: Hanoi
§ Work time: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:30pm), lunch break (12:00 - 1:30pm)
Every Saturday morning (8:00am - 12:00pm)
§ Selection process: Two rounds (COO -> CEO)
JOB DUTIES
§ Report to Japanese CEO (male, 50s)
§ Subordinates: 5 Managers (S&M, HR, Accounting, CS, Planning)
§ Job Responsibilities:
- Overview operation of all departments in the company and support when needed
- Consult CEO and raise proposal to improve company business, make short-term business plan if any
- Supervise core mission of Customer Service team and Sales team; give appropriate instructions and support to achieve all the goals and KPI target of each department
- Work Planning team to raise more ideas for improvement of sales and customer service; set new operation and monitor result until it can run smoothly and hand over to Department Manager
- Together with Planning team to take initiatives to analyze, make plan and proceed necessary steps for new strategies / projects of the company
- Review and prepare all financial reports to be submitted CEO on time, responsible for their quality and correctness
- Based on budget approval from CEO control and manage budget; be the final person to approve cash out, guarantee that cash flow is on plan and there is no mistake or cash out without any official approval
- Act as company representative to deal with issues regarding customers, employers and government authorities
- Work as internal control officer and guarantee that everything follows company policy; in case of incidents, report to CEO immediately and propose solutions
- Be the key person to connect and maintain good coordination among managers and departments
- Temporarily cover task of managers in case of lacking resources or during transition period
- Create and maintain good company culture, working environment; raise motivation of staffs
JOB REQUIREMENTS
§ Desirable Background and Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree in related fields
- Language skill(s): English fluent
- Computing: MS Office proficiency
- Good analysis skills, data driven and strategic mind
- Able to work under high pressure and multi task handling
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Well-disciplined, detail and process oriented with critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Understanding about Accounting and Finance, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and HR management
- Broad background, exposure to and experience in the entire research, planning and implementation
- Proven working experience as Chief Operation Officer at foreign service companies will be a big plus
