<Job Responsibilities>
- GENERAL ACCOUNTING
・Ensure timeliness, completeness of collecting invoices, documentations & information’s from vendors, customers and other department in order to serving for monthly closing.
・Analyze monthly Revenue, COSG and G&A expense including accruals and provisions, recommend action plan where necessary.
・Ensure the completeness and accuracy of information used for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and external financial reporting
・Maintain accurate books and records in accordance with VAS Principles and deadlines.
・Month-end cash management, deliver a cash plan for next multiple periods and open a fixed deposit if needed.
・Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly BS, PL, TB and its Detail & movement of accounts serving for Tokyo HQ accounting's reconciliations.
・Making cost allocation of service business activities, Cost of Service Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Yearly for HQ's Management and for Audit
Manage AR, AP, Bank and cash positions. Overseeing Payroll & Insurance issues to ensure no gap between accounting and HR records.
・Update and customize new functions for Mankichi Accounting Software to ensure it is timely, completely meet special accounting treatment and business requirement.
・Play E_INVOICE deployment & issuance.
-TAXATION
・Prepare monthly tax submission report
・Liaise with Tax Dept. for any tax related issues. Work and explain with Tax Officer for any occurred issues to ensures no gap and no miss-match data between accounting records and Tax Dept. system.
・Prepare O/L to get a specific guidance for a specific business transaction which is not clearly stipulated in Regulations to ensure Tax compliances.
・Provide relevant documents to auditors. Liaise with auditors to ensure audit is completed on a timely manner as per Group audit schedule
Regularly updating tax regulation, circulars, … relating to the company’s field and consult to Sale Department for each new complex business.
Getting a Tax Health Check every 3 years of EY to fill improve accounting and tax health issues.
- STATUTORY AUDIT
・Manage audit program & Schedule, fee, ensure interim and final audit is played timely, effectively
- TRANSFER PRICING
Prepare year-end Interco transactions
- SUPPORTS AND CO-ORDINATIONS
Review and approve monthly payroll, coordinate with GA&HR staff to ensure applied labor regulation, salary in accordance with Regulation and Labor Law.
