<Position Objective/Expectation >
- Assist the manager in ensuring the success of the project and the development of subordinates.
<Job Responsibilities>
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the project.
- Act as a catalyst to resolve project problems and conflicts, escalation when necessary.
- Ensure that impacted teams are involved and informed as early as possible in the project management process.
- Monitor team activities and cooperate with the direct manager and other departments to solve issues if any.
- Push subordinates to implement the company policy.
- Orient the challenge for each subordinate following the team challenge.
- Make a plan to develop the skills of subordinates as the direct manager’s requirement.
- Monitor performance and coach subordinates in the development process, management skills, and problem-solving methods.
- Support pre-sales activities, including consulting, proposing solutions, and estimation.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other IT- related fields.
・Language: Japanese - Business Level (From N2) or English - Business Level
・Experience:
- More than 7 years’ experience in software development and 1 ~ 2 years’ experience in project management.
- From 4 ~ 6 years’ experience in Java Enterprise Application or Microservice development, preferably using popular Java development framework/ tools such as Spring framework, JPA, JMS
- From 2~3 years’ experience in any of Oracle/MS SQL/Postgresql
- Experience in managing the development of ERP/ Production/ Data & Intelligence/ Service Now/ Intramart project.
・Others:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a logical, analytical approach to work.
- Able to work under a tight schedule.
- Good design documentation is required.
- Able to build teamwork spirit and always continuously motivate subordinates.
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate is a plus.
・Japanese company experience is preferable.
・Experience in the Retail/ Manufacturing industry is a plus.
