<Job Responsibilities>
• Assist the Cost & Procurement Manager in procurement management and establishing the project budget will be the main focus.
• Analyze outcomes and detailed progress Cost & Budget control reports including updating project cost plans, Variations Orders (IBOs), each sub-contractor & supplier amount and payment every month.
• Ensure quantity take off Q.S Team is within project requirements and scheduled Scope are available in the system for Monitoring
• Based on data of Work package Q.S, prepare Monthly Application for Payment (AFP) for Manager review and then to the Employer.
• Prepare procurement exercise, sub-tender (RFQ) with Subcontractor & Supplier, and draft subcontract documents, including bills of quantities, and scope of work with the coordination with the construction and design team.
• Review subcontractors’ quotation reports, attend meetings with Work Package Q.S, negotiate and finalize award (CCC Sheet) to submit to Manager.
• Understand the Sub-Contractor’s Sub-Contract conditions and apply the same as and when necessary advising P.J’s other staff of Sub-Contract non-compliance.
• This will require good working relationships with our Construction team and Work package Q.S staff.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Age: 40-60
・Gender: Any
・Education: Bachelor or above
・Language: English intermediate level
・Experience: At least 12 years experience as a QS Engineer
- Have previous experience in managing tendering or quantity surveying teams.
- Have advanced knowledge of Building or Mall bills of quantities, construction contracts, and ability to assess tendering for value, cost, and quality.
- Have advanced negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate conditions and quotations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate knowledge of software programs for Q.S requirements & CAD.
- Good interpersonal skills, Enthusiasm, and strong work ethic
- Able to display leadership of Sub-Contractors and QS staff
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・Worked with a foreign organization (Japanese Co.) and construction site experience is an advantage
