GENERAL INFORMATION
§ Position: SCM MANAGER - MANUFACTURING
§ Job code: JO-170824-135120

§ Contract term: Permanent

§ Expected joining date: Pursuant to Vietnam Labor Law
§ Work location: Dong Nai (company bus is provided from Bien Hoa and HCMC)
§ Work time: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
Saturday (8:00am - 5:00pm, off twice per month)
JOB DUTIES
§ Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of supply planning and manufacturing operations analyses, processes and tools
- Work with Global Supply Chain, Production and Procurement teams to plan and ensure timely production and distribution of assigned products to meet customer requirements
- Responsible for demand management process for assigned products; improve upon sales forecast accuracy results for those products
- Responsible for factory production schedules and materials requirements planning, as well as factory capacity and resource planning (tools, equipment, and production labor)
- Responsible for proper ERP part set up, routers, and planning parameters; RDC distribution replenishment planning and stocking strategies globally for assigned products
- Provide influence on short and long-term business goals; communicate strategy effectively to related departments to achieve timelines
- Ensure that supply and inventory plans are in support of working capital objectives by balancing working capital costs, operating expenses and customer service levels
- Influence internal customers as necessary to ensure successful strategy implementation
- Direct the professional growth of subordinates by providing individualized guidance, training and supervision; ensure that all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
§ Desirable Background and Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree in related fields
- Language skill(s): English fluent
- Computing: MS Office proficiency
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain within manufacturing operations
- Experienced in high-volume planning and manufacturing in global environment
- Excellent in demand modeling and statistical forecasting techniques as well as inventory control methods, batch control and expiration requirements
- Exposure to ERP systems and Advanced Planning tools are required; SAP is strongly preferred
- Able to solve practical problems; interpret and communicate complex issues in a manner that allows maximum product flexibility without compromising quality standard
- Able to analyze a high level of details and make educated decisions with limited data to help management team balance supply chain planning with business requirements
