JOB DUTIES:
§ Report to ACC Dept, General Director
§ Assigned to ACC Department / Team with 5 members (2 staffs in Hanoi and 3 staffs in HCMC)
§ Job Responsibilities:
- Daily Accounting and Financial management
- Maintain General Ledger & Trial balances w/t end of month reporting and reconciliation
- Liaise with other departments for Accounting documents and Information
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
- Prepare Hyperion financial report P & L, Balance Sheet, and Budget monthly
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with business strategic planning
- Controlling and managing Cash Flow forecasting and controlling income and expenditure
- Support Management and Planning to establishing business plans and yearly plan managing budgets
- Developing and managing financial systems/models
- Implementation and maintenance of Accounting Information System
- Work with auditors on quarterly and annual audits
- Manage Accounting staffs
- Liaising with Financial managerial staff at mother/sister companies and work on required planning and reporting
- Bank Account Reconciliations.
- Year-end Analysis, Schedules preparation for review.
- Prepare costs vs. Budget reviews, analyze variances.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
§ Desirable Background & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA or CA certification
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in a finance function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business.
- Approximately 7+ years of people management experience.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience in Big Four is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and local tax requirements. Ability to independently research and advise on complex
- Experience building and developing accounting teams for large, dynamic organizations
- Knowledge of SAP/BPC software applications.
- Proficient with MS Office applications with in-depth knowledge of MS Excel and other applications.
- Strong leadership skills and passion for continual development
- Experience with financial system implementations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/assignments on tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail .Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Skilled in performing detailed and complex numerical computations and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to effectively connect with peers, internal clients and senior leadership
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and Vietnamese and have good communication skills and being able to work with all levels of staff is important
- Have a positive work attitude.
- A good team player who is also pro-active, meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel (10%)
- Must be mature, independent and confident
- Self-initiating, self-managing and self-evaluating.
